Open, honest and sex-positive
AIM has teamed-up with HomemBala to make the case for the “Love Matters” initiative from Dutch NGO RNW-Media.
RNW-Media uses media for social change. With innovative approaches to media and training, they connect communities and change-makers, enabling young people to make informed choices. Their “Love Matters” programme is the global leader in delivering information and media on safe and satisfying sex to 18-30 year olds in areas where information on sexual and reproductive health and rights is censored or taboo.
It is a global “freedom of speech” programme targeting countries like Kenya, Uganda, China, Egypt, Mexico, Venezuela and India.
Love Matters seeks to bridge the gap in sexual reproductive health information between young people, sexual health experts, educators and services, especially where sex is a taboo. The concept has been honored by the World Association for Sexual Health and is also mentioned in the United Nations manifesto on reproductive health.
And we were very happy to work in such an inspiring project, helping connect audiences to people that truly make a difference!
