The Nederlands Openlucht Museum looks at the history of ordinary people in the Netherlands, and one of the most peculiar things in this country is surely the polder system: in case you are still wondering how people could live and prosper below the sea level, while playing Waterland you could learn exactly how it works.
Waterland is an app game designed by Tim Bosje and produced by Driebit agency for Openlucht Museum, meant to explain the logic behind the Dutch dykes’ system to the Museum’s visitors.
