  • According to the client's brief, she needed to shift brand identity to be simpler, more sophisticated, and elegant. She would like to apply the idea of Essentialism, craftsmanship to the design plus Japanese Wabi-sabi concept, imperfection is perfection, seen from her design work. So I use Japanese-primary font to type in English, customize some of letters to communicate the idea by adding blank space to the letters, getting rid of Tittle from the lowercase i to maintain essential parts. Finally, it is still readable.
